Polsat EVOBOX IP - internet channels not loading (help an australian)

Hello,

 

Apologies for the english post, my polish grammer is not good. (I should have listened in polish school)

 

My father brought back an EVOBOX IP from Poland and we used a polish VPN service to connect the online channels. It had been working for 9 months with no problems.

Recently the EVOBOX IP froze and reset itself, we are now unable to load/connect to the online channels.

We have tried factory reset and firmware is up-to-date.

Our account is paid-up, package is purchased, but we cannot trigger the EVOBOX to re-sync.

Polsat GO works and we are still able to watch the channels online.

 

We spoke to Tech Support but they have been unable to help via email or phone.

The recommendation is to return the EVOBOX to a store for troubleshooting but being in Australia this isnt easy...

 

Is there a way to hard-reset, or an option/setting i can check?

Looking to explore all options before we post the device back to Poland.

This were a nonsence, you should try better VPN (anonymous).

thanks for your reply.

I dont believe its VPN issue as the same VPN works fine with PolsatGO on the laptop and PolsatGO also works on EVOBOX.

Is there instructions on how to hard-reset , or how to rollback firmware?

Hello,

 

There are 2 variants ot Evobox net service:

IP - Which works only with Netia/Plus and Orange ISP

OTT/Stream - Which works with any polish and eu ISP.

 

If your father bought IP variant then it looks like your VPN service provider has changed their link/outgoing ip range to non netia/orange one. Thats why you can't reach tv streaming servers
